Colonial Resort-1000Islands - Gananoque

The room had a very comfortable bed, and the facilities were clean.

The room was warm with three double beds, medium condition, big TVs, everything was great. The location was incredible, near to Thousand Islands, and lake. Plus, distance to Confederation Park was only 1 km.

Early check in, reasonable prices. Pleasant location, an easy walk to everywhere.

The bed was exceptionally comfortable. the bathroom was clean. - the room had a flat-screen TV with cable channels, climate control, and a fridge. - the views overlooking the garden were lovely. - the staff was great. - the location was amazing, close to the Thousand Island ferry.

Convenient rooms with 3 beds, perfect for families or larger groups. the staff were all super friendly and helpful. the location was awesome, just a short stroll away from everything you might need. 🌟

Nice swimming pool and good location really close to a quiet area. Lots of good food.

Two pools and close to Boat tour. Sit down Continental Breakfast, coffee brought to you.

Outdated as far as decor. Some bugs, but due to being on main floor, they come in, understandable. Need to put dead bolts on the doors to make me feel safer especially because of outside door on main floor.

Great location, just a stone's throw away from the beach and the dock for boat tours 🏖️. You can easily walk to all the attractions, restaurants, shops, and parks in the downtown area.

Enjoyed my stay. We were allowed to check in early which really meant a lot. Arrived around 12:00 and were glad we didn't have to wait until 2pm. Staff was very friendly.

The Air Conditioner in room 12 had a burnt rubber smell after it had been on for a while, so we turned it off. Would have liked more information in the room about the Spa, and times of breakfast and times that the pool was open. I know I was told this at sign-in, but......

Great location near the beautiful 1000 islands. Plus, it's super close to other restaurants, downtown, and even the Rockport cruise line. Made for a lovely stay during the holidays! 😊

clean comfotable good size room

Lots of fun things to do like the pool, activities room and in a great location. We come to Gan a few times a year and have done this for over 25 years, but this was our first time at Colonial.

The room needs a bit of updating, but for the price it is very good value. The front desk staff could have been a little more helpful. When we arrived our room was not ready and we were told to come back in half an hour. We advised that we wanted to use the pool, but were again told the room wasn't ready. The employee could have told us there were change rooms in the spa area and we could use these and go ahead to the pool. When we said we wanted to book at the local theatre the employee told us she could call for us ( we asked ) but she advised it would be hard to get a ticket now, being Saturday. Since we had to wait half an hour we drove to the theatre, booked our tickets. Now since we are frequent traveller's we know what good service is, and anybody coming from out of town or the U.S. would have found the service not very inspiring. Everyone appreciates helpful service and friendliness.....we didn't get it.

The location was wonderful to the 1000 islands.

With its modern amenities, including a fancy jacuzzi tub, this place is impressive. Its location is pretty much spot on - close to downtown, easy access to the Parkway, the boat line dock, and surrounded by beautiful nature 🌿.

The grounds are charming and well maintained. The breakfast staff and checkout were friendly and made us feel very comfortable. Being set off the road a little more than most other hotels and motels meant that it was quieter, and we had the feeling that we could have been staying almost anywhere.

The air conditioner was very difficult to deal with. On a hot night it was needed, but the noise was tremendous. Luckily we had ear plugs, but it did make for a restless night. The lady on the desk when we arrived was most unwelcoming. She had no smile, or greeting and I felt that I was an intrusion in her day. As a group of 3 we had to ask for an extra glass, cup and towel, again, received with an edge of irritation. I don't feel this worthy of a complaint, as we all have bad days, but it was a rather unpleasant start to our stay.
